Gender and Sexuality Seminar
7:30pm on the 29th October, Gracecity Greenlane
The continually evolving topics of gender and sexuality have had significant impacts on the Church in New Zealand and around the world. These impacts have been both within the Church itself, and in the way the Church has engaged with wider society.
Everyone is welcome to this seminar, led by Jonathan Dove (Senior Pastor of Gracecity) and Chris Porteous (Greenlane Lead Pastor).
Jonathan will bring a theological perspective on what it means to hold together a wide welcome to all people with the call to walk the narrow way of Jesus.
Chris will share from his personal experience, as well as about his heart to support churches and Christian organisations in New Zealand to engage well on these topics.
Gracecity Uni Explore Night
6:30pm on the 5th November, Gracecity Greenlane
Join us at Gracecity Greenlane on Wednesday 5th November at 6:30pm to pray, dream, and discover how you can be part of a new Gracecity location in the heart of the city.
This night isn’t about signing up for anything - it’s simply a chance to hear the vision, ask questions, and find out more about what’s ahead as we launch Gracecity Uni in the Auckland CBD. This new location is part of our wider Gracecity mission to multiply disciples, groups, leaders, mission, and locations - joining in God’s heart to see our beautiful but broken city restored; to see students discipled and live out faith in every space: home, campus, work, and church.
We need two kinds of people: students who want to live out a real, authentic faith on campus, and people of all ages who’ll walk alongside - mentoring, caring, and helping them follow Jesus in this formative season.
