At Gracecity, young people matter.

We believe in raising the next generation together—a partnership between whānau and the whole church. 

We’re passionate about facilitating consistent, faith-building experiences for young people to grow in their relationship with God. That means championing parents in everyday discipleship, building connections across generations, and inviting young people into the heart of our church’s mission, vision, and values.

Through Gracecity Youth (High School) and Junior Youth (Intermediates & Year 9s), we offer spaces that are fun, faith-filled, and open—welcoming those exploring faith and challenging those already walking with Jesus. Our weekly gatherings, termly events, camps, and mission opportunities help young people see they’re part of something bigger.

Youth

Gracecity Youth is a place for high schoolers to grow in faith, build real friendships, and be part of something bigger.

Our nights are fun, welcoming, and full of energy. When you arrive, you’ll notice young people from different schools, backgrounds, and walks of life. We love that our youth community reflects the diversity of our city, and we believe everyone belongs here. Whether you’re loud or quiet, sporty or creative, full of questions or already following Jesus — you’re welcome here.

Each week, includes time to hang out, worship, hear a message from the Bible that connects with real life, and jump into small groups—where you can talk honestly, ask questions, and be supported by leaders who really care.

There’s no pressure, and no dress code—just come as you are. Hoodies, sneakers, and caps are all good with us.

Junior Youth

Junior Youth is the place to have fun, make friends, and learn more about who God is and what following Jesus is all about.

We meet during the Sunday service—it’s a space just for you, with games, awesome leaders, and a chance to talk about life and faith in a real way. Whether you’ve been around church for ages or you’re just checking it out, you’re totally welcome.

There are also fun socials during the term, where you can hang out, invite your friends, so just come along and have some fun!
