6-25 December
Carols. We hear them in shopping centres and sing them at gatherings year after year. Their words tell a story of hope in darkness, joy in a broken world, and a God who chose to come close to us. Join us this Christmas as we rediscover the meaning behind five familiar carols.
AUCKLAND SANTA PARADE
29 November - Queen Street
This Christmas, we have the opportunity to join churches from across Auckland in bringing the story of Jesus into the heart of our city at the Auckland Santa Parade.

Location: Starts on Mayoral Drive and goes down Queen Street, Auckland CBD
CHRISTMAS WALKTHROUGH
11-13 December - Gracecity Greenlane
Journey through the Christmas story. Meet wise men, an evil king, shepherds and angels, and see the birth of a child who will change the world. Come for an immersive Christmas experience featuring music, hot chocolate and activities. A great event for everyone!
Friday 11 December: 6.30pm - 9pm
Saturday 12 December: 1pm - 3.30pm & 6.30pm - 9pm
Sunday 13 December: 6.30pm - 9pm
Duration of the walkthrough is about half an hour.

CHRISTMAS ON ICE
15 December - Paradice Ice Skating Botany, 6-8pm (doors open at 5:45pm)
Join us for our annual Christmas on Ice celebration at Paradice Ice Skating! Enjoy skating to live Christmas music from our band, along with fun activities like face painting, a photo booth, and cookie decorating. Off the ice, grab a bite at the Paradice café and snack bar and celebrate the festive season with family and friends. Don’t miss this joyful holiday tradition!

A CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
20 December - Greenlane/Online 9 & 11am | Howick 10am | Flatbush 5:30pm
“Away in a manger, no crib for a bed.” Christmas is worth celebrating! This fun-filled service for all ages will help us rediscover the hope at the heart of the very first Christmas. Bring your friends and family along as we celebrate the birth of Jesus together!
CHRISTMAS EVE
24 December - Greenlane/Online 6 & 8pm | Howick 7pm | Flatbush 6pm
“O holy night, the stars were brightly shining.” Celebrate Christmas Eve with a night of carols, reflection, and community as we share the story of God’s love revealed in Jesus’ birth.
CHRISTMAS DAY
25 December - Greenlane/Online 9:30am
“Hark! The herald angels sing, Glory to the risen King.” Begin Christmas morning with worship and joy as we celebrate Jesus. Gather to remember the birth of our Saviour and the life-changing hope he brings.

FAQs About Christmas at Gracecity
What time is the Christmas Eve service?
Our Christmas Eve services are on Christmas Eve at 6pm & 8pm at Greenlane, 7pm at Howick, and 6pm at Flat Bush. There is no Gracecity Kids during these services, as our Christmas Eve services will include kids in the main service at all locations.
What time is the Christmas Day service?
Our Christmas service is first thing Christmas Day at 9:30 am at Gracecity Greenlane. It is a kids friendly service, so bring your family and friends along! The Gracecity Kids environments will not be running during the service, as our Christmas Day service will include kids in the service.
What should I wear?
Come exactly as you are, you don’t need to dress up or down for anyone.
Can I watch services online if I can’t attend in person?
Absolutely! If for any reason you can’t make our in-person service, you can always watch it live or watch it later on our YouTube channel.
